Missions

Lakeside Missionaries

Because of passages such as Acts 13:1-3, Philippians 4:14-19 and 3 John 5-8, we believe our local assembly of believers in Christ should support those who have gone forth "for the sake of the name (of Jesus Christ)." Furthermore we believe those we support should be unified with us in doctrine and that they should be involved in planting or helping to plant Lakeside-like churches, worldwide.

In the future we will only take on missionaries for support that would be fit to be hired on to our local church staff. Lakeside Community Chapel sees missionaries as an extension of the ministry to our Lord from Lakeside Community Chapel. We also believe supported missionaries are accountable to the Lord through the local church or churches that support them (Acts 14:26-28).
